The City of Montebello in partnership with Nationwide Environmental Services provides residents with street sweeping service as an effort to beautify and enhance the aesthetics of our City streets and alleyways. Our goal is to service you by maintaining a healthy, safe and clean environment for our community.
Weekly sweeping of all residential and commercial streets in the community helps reduce the amount of pollutants, helping keep local rivers and the ocean cleaner and healthier. Frequent street sweeping also improves the appearance of our local roadways.

(323) 887-1200 ext.399
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
After-hours call the Police Department's non-emergency line (323)-887-1313.
Enforcement Policy
Citations are given to vehicles a sweeper has to move around during posted hours. If enforcement officers directly see a vehicle relocating to the street AFTER a sweeper passes, a citation will NOT be given.
BE ADVISED if for any reason an enforcement officer is not directly behind the street sweeper, and they observe an illegally parked vehicle on their route, a citation will be issued. Sweepers may revisit any street that needs additional cleaning and a citation can still be issued even if the first sweeper has passed. To avoid a citation, we recommend residents relocate vehicles to the street AFTER posted sweeping hours.
